Discover personalised support to empower educators and support student wellbeing.
We provide customised consultation and therapeutic services to support school staff. Our team collaborates with staff to reflect on their roles, explore specific concerns or challenges, and consider the personal impact these experiences may have had. Schools can also signpost students and families to us for therapy where there is an identified need, to learn more about this you may like to read more about our therapy services.
This dual approach helps to encourage a healthier school environment and enhance impact by supporting students’ wellbeing.
Our knowledgeable therapists offer support to overcome challenges in the education setting, including:
Providing strategies to manage and mitigate disruptive behavior, fostering a more focused and productive classroom environment.
Immediate support and guidance for schools facing crises such as assaults, for school recovery and resilience.
Strengthen peer interactions and address social challenges among students, promoting a supportive and inclusive school environment.
To answer questions and offer specific mental health understanding to staff so they can better identify and support students and each other.
Our monthly consultation services are designed to equip school staff with therapeutic tools and strategies, enhancing their ability to support both students and fellow staff members effectively. These services focus on the explorative aspect of mental health by providing support and resources that help staff identify and reflect on some of the most difficult aspects of their role, as well as some of the most rewarding.
By providing ongoing support, we empower staff with the skills to encourage a nurturing and responsive educational environment, ensuring that they are well supported to respond to challenges within the school setting whilst valuing and balancing their own health and wellbeing.
Our isolated response services support with addressing and managing school crises, such as incidents of assault, abuse, a death, or when a child is taken into care. We offer critical incident debriefing, therapeutic interventions for staff, and guidance to support recovery.
These services provide immediate, tailored support to school staff following challenging events, helping them to navigate the complex emotional impact of a traumatic incident. Consultations aim to restore stability, validate thoughts and feelings, and provide coping mechanisms for staff to support each other and students during challenging times.
Our school consultation services are priced at £140 per session, reflecting the high level of expertise provided by our senior therapists. These professionals are well-versed in navigating the complex challenges often encountered in educational settings.
To maximise value and impact, we recommend group sessions when appropriate. This approach not only makes sessions more cost-effective but also enhances the overall benefit by supporting a broader group of staff simultaneously, sharing therapeutic tools and strategies throughout the school environment.
We offer flexible school consultation services tailored to your school’s specific needs and preferred setting. For schools that appreciate the convenience and immediacy of remote support, we provide online sessions that can be easily integrated into busy school schedules. For those preferring in person interactions, our team are available to provide in-school support in certain locations, bringing our expertise directly to you.
We appreciate that when schools request consultation services there is often an immediate need. We aim to have a scoping session to assess need and provide recommendations within one week of consent forms being received.
Sessions last for 50 minutes.
Sessions generally take place monthly to allow for appropriate continuity of support.
Where reactive support is sought to manage an incident, we may recommend more frequent sessions, at least initially, to ensure staff feel sufficiently supported. Formulating a plan for response is a collaborative process between the school and the therapist.
When you make a referral into our services you will sign a consent form with the details of our cancellation and missed appointment policy.
The full cost of the appointment will be charged whenever a client misses or cancels an appointment without giving a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
In cases of reactive support services, it may be that a group session is ideal (for instance where many staff members have been involved with an incident). If one staff member is particularly affected, it may be that one-to-one support sessions are more effective to allow them the space needed to process the incident. We will discuss recommendations after the initial scoping session so that we can work with you on the most appropriate plan for support.
Where proactive support is sought, sessions can be group and/or individual, according to your needs.
Schools can refer children for therapy, or they can signpost parents to our support services. We work with schools to ensure that you have the resources you need to support conversations with children and families. We have a page with useful information about our therapeutic services for children and families.
