An End of Therapy Report is a document your therapist can provide when your sessions come to a close. The report is tailored to you and will provide an insightful summary of the support provided, helping you transition smoothly as therapy ends.
These reports serve multiple purposes, all centred around offering closure and creating a clear record of your therapeutic experience. Here is why we write these reports:
Your reasons for seeking therapy and the challenges identified.
The therapeutic approach and strategies used during sessions.
A summary of sessions and recurring themes.
Practical advice and next steps to support ongoing health and wellbeing.
This report is more than just a document; it is a valuable resource. It provides a :
The cost of this report is proportional to the cost of your sessions. This reflects the time and detail involved in creating a personalised report. Reports take 1.5 hours to write and so we charge for 90 minutes of your therapist’s time. Below you can see some session costs and their associated report cost.
While, some clients find these reports helpful, others prefer to end therapy without. Therefore, if you don’t find value in receiving one, you can opt out of this service. Before sessions begin, as part of our payment agreement we will ask you if you would like to receive an End of Therapy Report. However, you can opt in or out of receiving one at any time before your final session by emailing hello@inspirewellbeingservices.co.uk.
Your privacy is important to us, and this is your personal report, so we only share this report with your permission.
Generally for work with young people, reports are shared directly with the parent or carer paying for the service. However, where the service is provided to a young adult it may be more appropriate for us to share the report with them directly. When a therapist is working with a child or young person, they will know towards the end of the work if they are going to write a report. Often the child or young person will be asked if they want to contribute and/or if there are things they do not want to be shared with their parent or carer.
If you are at the beginning of your journey you can find out more about the other parts of your therapeutic journey here. You can read the Verywell Mind Guide if you are concluding therapy and want to understand more about what to expect. If you have any questions about End of Therapy Reports, please get in touch with us. We are here to guide you through your therapy journey and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
